Outside Sales Representative
Position Summary: We are looking for the next employee ownerto join our team as an Outside Sales Representative in the Baltimore/DC Metropolitan area. This role reports to the DistrictSales Manager and is responsible for maximizing sales and profits on assignedaccounts, identifying new business opportunities, and fostering a strong relationshipwith our customers. PositionResponsibilities: Develops and maintains principal levelrelationship with assigned customers through regular sales calls. Develops relationships and marketsUnited Electric to potential new customers. Provides exceptional customer service,responding to all customer issues or problems in a timely and effective manner. Assists credit and accounts payable toresolve disputed issues. Assists the Gear and LightingDepartments with job bids and any job-related problems. Communicates regularly with Inside Saleson open orders and backordered items. Provides sales reports and territorysales forecast reports as required. Works closely with allinternal departments, combining individual efforts to better serve thecustomer. Regularly attendscommunications meetings as required. Represents the companyto the community, the public in general, and various local, regional, state,organizations Attends applicabletrade association meetings/events to promote our company Proactively support thecompany with all marketing, new product, training, and cost-saving programs. Performs other dutiesas obvious or assigned. Qualifications: Ademonstrated history of success as an outside sales representative. Abachelor s degree or equivalent work experience. 5-7 years of experience in the Electrical Distribution industry. Experience sellinglabor services a plus.
