Folio Financial provides investment technology and other services to the financial services industry and through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Folio Investments, Inc. The firm has more than 19 patents covering an array of financial services and products and has been, and continues to be, a pioneer in a number of areas in the investing and wealth management fields. The firm also has two wholly-owned subsidiary registered investment advisors through which it offers a variety of advisory services and technology to support the offerings of unaffiliated investment advisors. The FolioFirst Client Service Representative (FF CSR) role is structured around the service of a single client segment. These clients represent a new relationship for Folio due to a recent acquisition of another online brokerage platform. As FF CSR you will be responsible for handling all client inquiries, such as, education about Folio, features of the new platform, fee structures and day to day service needs. You are expected to successfully pass the FINRA Series 7 and 63 licensing exams within 120 days of employment. At that stage you will be trained to support the Retail and Institutional client segments. Provide value added service and support to Folio's newest client segment, FolioFirst Creatively and conveniently solve member problems in an expedient manner Perform account and service functions accurately and efficiently Handle requests by clients for Folio's investment products and services Provide direction to new customers by being responsive to customer needs, inquiries and requests Excel in explaining complex information in ways that are easy to understand Drive customer experience to high levels of satisfaction by adhering to customer first principles Contribute to departmental and corporate goals Bachelor's Degree Preferred Minimum of 2 years client service experience, preferably in financial services, retail brokerage or at an investment advisory firm Proven experience with fundamentals of providing service excellence, including skills to build rapport, determine client needs, and ability to educate clients/prospects on Folio's products and services FINRA Series 7 License - will sponsor for qualified candidates Strong multi-tasking, time management and organizational skills Robust problem solving skills Excellent relationship management and communication skills in both verbal and written formats Strong technical skills including word processing, spreadsheet capabilities and the ability to support our clients as they utilize our web-based products Team player with demonstrated initiative/leadership through participation in job related groups or committees Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
