  • Minimum of five years facility cable plant support experience, in a leadership role, performing analysis and fault isolation functions, with hands-on working-level knowledge of Routers and Switch equipment, Load Balancers, Wireless Networks, Security Appliances, Firewalls, and DNS services; working knowledge of TCP/IP, Ethernet, Vlans, routing protocols and network security required; experience with Network Management Systems, and/or traffic monitoring hardware/software required. Must be able to demonstrate recent experience performing hardware set-up and installation, documenting installation and configuration changes, evaluating and implementing technology enhancements, and providing hands-on problem isolation. Experience with Telecomm and VoIP technology highly desirable. Project management, supervisory, or other experience that demonstrates ability to manage and supervise staff performing technical tasks; strong interpersonal communication skills, ability to communicate and understand technical information, comprehend technical instructions, evaluate problems, and assist automation users; ability to remain calm and professional in high stress environment when confronted with demanding users, short timeframes, or other pressing and urgent demands.

    A degree in a related field preferred. Work experience can be substituted for related degree.
