Job Description: Responsible for survey preparedness and ongoing internal audits to ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulatory and accreditation standards for all business lines within the division. Supervises the Mock Audit team to ensure that standards are appropriately interpreted and action plans are developed to be in compliance. Responsible for oversight of the ADR (Additional Development Request) process to ensure timely filing and appropriate response. Oversees the development and maintenance of clinical policies and procedures to assist with standardized practices in all practices in all settings specific to the programs. Develops and distributes regulatory newsletters to all programs. Education Level
Bachelor's Level Degree

Experience
Required: Home Health or Hospice - 3 years, Supervisory - 2 years

Preferred: Accreditation and Regulatory - Previous experience, Policy and Procedure Development - Previous experience

License

Sentara Home Health is accepting applications for an experienced Regulatory Affairs Manager.

This is a full-time position with excellent benefits and compensation.

Bachelor's Degree required.

Must have a minimum of 3 years Home Health or Hospice experience.

2 years supervisory experience required.

Previous experience with Accreditation and Regulatory - Policy and Procedure Development required.

The ideal candidate will have considerable experience with Conditions of Participations (CoPs) and Accreditation Process.
This position provides regulatory oversight for all 5 Home Health Business Lines, including 10 home health, 4 hospice, 7 medical transport , 1 infusion and a $100 million specialty pharmacy.

Will consider RN with Associate's Degree or Diploma RN with the requirement to sign a BSN education agreement committing to enrollment in accredited RN to BSN program within 24 months of hire and successfully obtaining their BSN within 5 years of hire.


Occasional travel to all Sentara Home Care sites across the state.is required.
