Qualified candidates will possess:
• Graduate of an AMA / JRCERT Accredited School of Radiography, ARRT Certification (RT) or ARRT CT Advanced Certification (CT)
• Active Maryland license required
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• One year of current CT experience in a hospital environment

Independently performs CT examinations on all patient populations within Adventist Healthcare system including the administration of oral and IV contrast materials when appropriate. Works collaboratively with other members of the care team to expedite patients examinations while maintaining excellent patient relations and demonstrating our RISES values.
Performs CT examinations in accordance with the protocols established by the radiologists. Demonstrates proficiency in operating CT-scanner and all ancillary equipment within CT department.
Understands principles and dangers involved in the administration of oral and intravenous contrast. Identifies contraindications to IV contrast administration and recognizes symptoms of IV contrast reactions.
Properly identifies patients, reviews orders and selects scanning protocols in order to maximize quality and safe patient care in CT.
Accurately performs documentation in all computer systems within CT and Imaging Services pertinent to CT scanning (HIS, RIS, PACS, Telelradiography, image reformatting)
Transports to and/or from CT as necessary.
Provides general patient care as necessary within the CT department.
