This person will work closely with engineers and project managers within project teams creating and managing files and producing engineering documents using REVIT MEP and AutoCad MEP software.  Primary duties include 1) receiving architectural and structural REVIT and AutoCad files and integrating these files with REVIT MEP and AutoCad MEP documents; 2) working with architectural clients and other team members inside and outside of Dewberry to coordinate REVIT and AutoCad updates; 3) Working with project teams and clients to develop and implement BIM REVIT plans, standards, and content; 4) Performing initial set-ups for new projects; 5) Managing REVIT MEP models throughout the design process; 6) Working closely with Dewberry corporate groups to assist in the development, implementation, training, and management of Dewberry REVIT and AutoCad standards.

  • 5+ years experience working in the MEP engineering field using REVIT MEP and AutoCad MEP software.
  • Engineering or Computer related degree, but not required.
  • Experience with Navisworks software and performing clash detection on large complicated projects would be a plus.
  • Fluent working knowledge of REVIT MEP and AutoCad MEP software is required.
  • Experience with highrise office, hotel, and residential projects; secured federal government projects; large mixed-use projects; tenant interiors projects.
  • Experience working within A/E teams to produce, coordinate, and manage design models and deliverable documents.
  • Good to excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of MSOffice software packages.
