Operations Research Analyst, Junior

Key Role:
Leverage analytical methodologies and experience to execute project tasks in support of a Marine Corps client. Apply expertise in quantitative and qualitative analysis, optimization, and process improvement and develop mathematically rigorous representations of real world capabilities. Provide information management, presentation preparation, report generation, and methodology development. Participate in the verification and validation of simulations, models, and tools. Apply linear and non-linear optimization tools and provide independent assessments of studies, analyses, reports, and cost estimates. Apply decision theory and portfolio analysis to strategic resourcing decisions and develop stochastic and deterministic models and simulations to support budgetary decisions and POM development.
 
Basic Qualifications: 
-Experience as an operations research analyst
-Ability to support analysis of budgetary and programmatic information, apply probability and statistical techniques to analyzing large and complex data sets, and conduct the development and application of optimization models to DoD issues and the development of independent assessments of studies, analyses, reports, and cost estimates 
-Ability to conduct analysis of model and simulation outputs to support USMC leadership decision making, development of models and simulations to support budgetary decisions and POM development, and verification and validation of simulations, models, and tools 
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree in Operations Research, Systems Engineering, Applied Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, or Economics
