The Senior Compliance Analyst facilitates, develops, executes and monitors activities related to compliance policies and procedures, training and education, investigations and conflicts of interest. Under the supervision of the AVP, the Senior Compliance Analyst confirms adherence to federal and state laws affecting AHC. Additionally, the incumbent collaborates with entity personnel to meet the objectives of the Compliance Program and Code of Conduct. The role also provides subject matter expertise to the Senior Manager, Internal Audit & Advisory Services as needed.

Qualified candidates will possess:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, healthcare or related field;
Juris Doctor or Master's Degree is preferred;
Five (5) years of work experience in a healthcare environment, including compliance, investigations, regulatory, research or related field;
Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) and/or Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC) is preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of health care compliance concepts and practices;
PC skills including OneNote, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio and Outlook;
Experience in or ability/willingness to learn electronic incident management software;
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, for all audiences from executive management to departmental staff;
Good interview skills - the ability to build trust with those being interviewed so as to extract sensitive information; and
Ability to exercise independent thought and judgment.
