  • Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: 1) Dispatching and assigning operators various equipment such as: cargo carrying vehicles, special purpose vehicles, passenger carrying vehicles, weight handling equipment (WHE) and material handling equipment (MHE); 2) Providing administrative support by coordinating local workload and customer needs, reviewing job statuses, customer qualifications, licenses, and requirements; 3) Maintaining a database of assigned equipment including newly assigned vehicles or equipment, vehicle condition and arranging for servicing, repairing, and safety inspections; 4) Inputting and reconciling time and labor records, cost centers, and job order numbers; 5) Utilizing and maintaining automated information systems (e.g. Word, Excel, MAXIMO, ETC.) to generate reports such as: operational costs and cost estimates, preventative maintenance records and schedules, and vehicle usage and mileage.

    In addition to specialized experience, you may also qualify for this position based on education as follows:

    Successful completion of one full year of graduate level education with a major study in accounting, business administration, business or commercial law, commerce, economics, engineering, finance, industrial management, statistics, traffic management, transportation, motor mechanics, nautical science, marine affairs, marine engineering, marine transportation, or other fields related to the position. OR Successful completion of a bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement with a major study in accounting, business administration, business or commercial law, commerce, economics, engineering, finance, industrial management, statistics, traffic management, transportation, motor mechanics, nautical science, marine affairs, marine engineering, marine transportation, or other fields related to the position. OR A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. In which the percentage of the required education plus the percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
