Preferred: None, unless noted in the “Other” section belowOptima Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN), Integrated Care Management for the Hospital Review team, Behavioral Health, in Virginia Beach, VA. This position is full time, day shift (Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm)
The selected RN for this position will manage the UM responsibilities for multiple PAR facilities and also follows Optima members admitted to out of network facilities. The UM team is responsible for contract negotiations related to single case agreements, care coordination, utilization management, and discharge planning. Members of this team are responsible for adhering to all regulatory bodies including CMS, NCQA, and the BOI. This position will support the Medicaid Expansion population.. Minimum BSN degree required and at least 3 years of RN experience, preferably in case management.

BLS (if in a clinical setting). For Integrated Care Management departments, specialty certification required within one year of eligibility (ACM, CCM, CCCTM or RN-BC). 3 years Case Management experience preferred. For those in Behavioral Health - Certification in de-escalation training within 15 days of hire and annually.
