Do you have a Bachelor’s Degree along with at least 2 years of Program Assistant experience in a Non-Profit environment? Our client, a Non-Profit organization in downtown Washington, DC has an opening for a Temp-to-Hire Program Assistant to provide administrative and programmatic support. This person is an important contributor to the effectiveness and efficiency of the vice president and the broader department.
Duties will include serving as the primary departmental contact to coordinate travel, schedule meetings, and maintain calendars; track budgets and expenditures; code and process invoices and payments; reconcile expense reports and credit card statements; and respond to internal and external inquiries and requests for information. Will also assist program staff with preparation for and execution of meetings and programs, including developing event materials, obtaining copyright permissions, corresponding with speakers and participants, providing on-site support for programs and logistics, tracking expenses, processing reimbursements, and generating invoices.
Must have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience in a nonprofit association. There are two annual meetings per year and must be able to travel to each of these for 3-4 days at a time.
