Job Description: The lead clinical analyst is a leadership analyst position that is responsible for supporting, planning and supervising projects and resources related to applications and technologies to provide an integrated system solution for the customer base and key stakeholders. The major application and technology focus is the Epic application / modules. Responsibilities include oversight of large scale, complex projects; development of project plans and timelines as well as mentoring and supervising other members of the clinical analyst team; providing assistance to the Product Manager in managing costs, budgets, vendor management relationships, contract negotiations, RFP's and the development and implementation of best practices; supervision of software implementations and review and monitoring of test plans; effectively setting and managing customer expectations at the manager and director levels; acting as a lead liaison and strategic partner with the customer base, software vendors and other areas within the Information Technology. 2 yrs experience in a relevant clinical department being supported required & 5 yrs experience supporting the Epic application / modules for a relevant clinical department required (7 yrs total), OR 7 yrs experience supporting the Epic application / modules for a relevant clinical department required. Previous licensure/ certification in a clinical health care field required. Multiple IT proficiencies /certifications preferred, as available/relevant. Project Management Professional Certification preferred.
