2 years of Healthcare or Risk Management experience required. Must have ability to work with outside agencies, plaintiff's counsel and patient advocacy groups. Should possess excellent public speaking skills. Requires local travel and use of personal automobile. Requires flexibility in work schedule. Knowledge of clinical practice and clinical data analytics.
Department/Position Overview: This position will be located in Woodbridge on the campus of Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center and will become part of the Corporate Risk Management Team. The position will regularly interact with the staff and leaders at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center as well as other local Sentara facilities and Risk Management team members throughout the organization. The position will be responsible for assisting the Risk Manager in the development, maintenance and monitoring of the risk management program. We require that serious candidates have 2 years experience working in Risk Management in the healthcare arena. We prefer someone with Regulatory/Compliance experience. We prefer candidates with a minimum of Associates Degree but will consider experience in lieu of education.
