Job Description: Manages and coordinates all aspects of conducting clinical trials within Sentara Healthcare, both clinically and administratively. Sound conduct of the clinical trial including recruitment, screening, enrollment, and follow-up of eligible subjects according to protocol requirements. Maintenance of accurate and complete documentation of related regulatory documents. Participates in writing, presenting and publishing results of studies. Education Level
RN-Bachelor's Level Degree

Required: Nursing - 2 years, Research - 2 years

Required: Registered Nurse

Preferred: Basic Life Support

Required: Active Listening, Communication, Coordination, Critical Thinking, Microsoft Office, Writing

BSN required. Certified Clin Research Prof or Clinical Research Coordinator required within 3 years in the role. 2 years of research OR nursing experience required. BLS required within 90 days

Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse to work as Research Nurse in Cancer Center. BSN, two (2) year of nursing, OR two (2) years of research experience is REQUIRED. Certified Clinical Research Professional or Clinical Research Coordinator required within three (3) years in role.

Hours/Shift: Part Time - Day Shift

Department/Position Overview:
The Cancer Care Center is a resource center for cancer patients. The center provides resources such as brochures, books, education, wigs, scarves, etc. This position navigates patients through their cancer journey. The cancer center is also a point of contact for physicians and providers for information, resources, and referrals.
