This candidate should have a minimum of 5 years working within HR on the oversight of claims.   • Work closely with various internal teams and legal departments to ensure compliance
  • Support daily claim triage process and investigation
  • Oversee collection of required data to ensure
  • Liaise with HR, Employee Relations, and internal Legal Department regarding liability, risk issues, and safety compliance
  • Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly claim updates
  • Responsible for the development of worker's compensation training
  • Ad hoc projects as required to support day-to-day performance of the team

Qualifications/Background Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, or related field
  • 5+ years of hands-on multijurisdictional lost time claim experience
  • Experience working with internal legal teams and external law firms
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office Suite
  • Detail-oriented with strong communication, problem solving, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
  • Extensive knowledge of worker's compensation standards, practices, procedures, various laws and insurance company claim database systems
  • AIC, ARM, or CPCU preferred
