Conducts and plans using program curriculum, weekly 90-minute home visits to develop strong parent-child relationship that promotes and enhances child development and positive family outcomes; and Plans and facilitates group socialization experiences and other family group activities integrating Head Start components
Conducts developmental screening and ongoing child assessment of the child's growth and development, in partnership with parents; and Develops a family partnership agreement that assists family goal development and tracks and monitors progress toward successful family outcomes.
Monitors and shares information with parents with respect to children's health status, including prenatal care, well-baby/child care and medical follow-up, as well as physical, dental, mental, and nutritional health; and completes required documentation, maintaining child and family records that are up to date, accurate, well written with few grammatical errors.
Conducts outreach efforts to recruit families to program; Refers parents as needed to community resource agencies; Facilitates the transition of the children and their families from Early Head Start into Head Start, preschool programs, and/or other community resources as appropriate; and coordinates services with local Infants and Toddlers (Part C) programs to children with disabilities in accordance with federal IDEA and Head Start Performance Standards.

Tobacco use is a well-recognized preventable cause of death in the United States and an important public health issue. In order to promote and maintain a healthy work environment, Adventist HealthCare will not hire applicants for employment who either state that they are nicotine users or who test positive for nicotine use.
Adventist HealthCare will withdraw offers of employment to applicants who test positive for Cotinine (nicotine). Those testing positive for cotinine are given the opportunity to re-apply in 90 days, if they can truthfully attest that they have not used any nicotine products in the past ninety (90) days and successfully pass follow-up testing.
