Job Description: Responsible and accountable for the daily operations of one or more clinical areas. Models and leads professional practices consistent with organizational goals of safety, customer satisfaction and quality for the area of expertise. Supervises staff, provides clinical/ technical expertise and engages in process improvements. Assists in the fiscal budgeting and management process for the department including billing/revenue management, payroll, purchasing and supply cost management. Performs work assignments as needed to provide coverage and to mentor or assist staff. Interviews, hires and develops team members with the goal of developing a highly effective work team. Engages in talent retention strategies for the area(s) of responsibility. Education Level
Bachelor's Level Degree - NURSING

Required: Clinical Practice - 3 years, Healthcare Management - 3 years

Required: Registered Nurse

Preferred: Basic Life Support

Required: Critical Thinking, Judgment and Decision Making, Mgmt of Material Resources, Mgmt of Staff Resources, Microsoft Office, Speaking, Writing

Strong clinical care knowledge base in area of expertise. BLS required within 90 days

Sentara Healthcare is seeking a Manager, (RN) for the Infusion Centers that are located at Sentara Norfolk General and Sentara Independence.

Shift: Full time, day shift

Our Infusion Centers care for a broad variety of patients to include oncology, neurology, allergy & asthma, infections disease, transplants, and more.

    BSN, 3 years of RN and 3 years of management experience Responsible for total operation for both the Norfolk and Virginia Infusion Centers Supervise and mentor Staff Registered Nurses and Administrative Team Ensures quality and safety standards are maintained Must have excellent relationship building skills to work with both internal and external customers Participate in hospital programs and lead meetings
