Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA is recruiting for a Registered Nurse to fill the full time position of Manager of Community Health. Duties for this position will include oversight, planning, developing, coordinating, monitoring and evaluating preventive health initiatives, community health events, community health classes, part-time staff and serve as a representative on local/health system health coalitions. We are seeking a candidate who possesses current knowledge of national, regional and local preventive health issues and trends. The ideal candidate will also have knowledge of managed health care improvement strategies and cost benefits. In addition to being a Registered Nurse, applicant must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a management role. We require a BSN and we prefer an MSN.

Department/Position Overview: This position will join the team in our Community Health Office working closely with the Customer Development and Brand Engagement team which is on the beautiful campus of Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center. The position requires local travel to community health coalitions and community health events.
