Job Summary/Company:

Are you an Property/Community Manager in the residential community association field? Are you a people person and resilient in your pursuit of success? If yes- Look no further! Sparks Group is hiring immediately for a Community Manager in Laurel Maryland.


  • Implementing the decisions of the Board of Directors, administering the services, programs and operations of the Association within the policies and guidelines
  • Receive, document and respond to owner and resident inquiries
  • Supervise and manage the day-today affairs of each community association
  • Perform periodic inspections of the property and issue violation notices as needed
  • Attend all board of directors meeting and annual meeting
  • Assist in preparing budgets to meet planned objectives
  • Review, approve and process all association invoices/bills/contract payments in accordance with established policies
  • Assist in writing and formatting newsletters and flyers as requested
  • Maintain individual owner files and obtain copies of leases from non-resident owners
  • Coordinate mailings and member notice distribution as necessary
  • Develop and implement systems and processes to establish and maintain records as needed
  • Other jobs duties as needed

Qualifications/Background profile:

  • Associate degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college
  • Must have a current driver’s license and a personal vehicle available to perform the duties
  • Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA®) designation required
  • 1 or more years managing HOA properties preferred
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite
