Position Description:
The Administrator is responsible for the planning and is accountable for all activities and departments of the Skilled Nursing Facility subject to rules and regulations promulgated by government agencies to ensure proper health care services to residents.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or equivalent preferred
  • Licensed nursing home administrator
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in skilled nursing or nursing home environment.
  • Financial and analytical skills.
  • Initiative and ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Effective interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills to deal effectively in a multi-dimensional environment.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word.
  • Knowledge of current federal and state laws and regulations that apply to the practice of nursing in a long-term care setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to make sound judgment.
  • Ability to multi task.
