Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as exclusive landlord listing broker and leasing agent for marketing and leasing of vacant space and lease renewals
  • Expand relationships with the brokerage community including broker communication, newsletters, and marketing campaigns
  • Act as agent for landlord and interact exclusively with tenant brokers as needed to lease vacant space and manage lease renewals at assigned properties
  • Draft and negotiate lease documents, guaranties and exhibits with tenant and/or tenant’s counsel
  • Market, present and promote properties and show vacancies as appropriate to prospective tenants and tenant brokers
  • Engage existing tenants in discussions and negotiations of lease renewals
  • Recommend and structure economic terms of lease transactions (utilizing Pro-Calc) to meet landlord objectives and current market conditions, including lease value and rent increases
  • Act as landlord’s liaison with tenants, brokers, counsel, and other representatives and process lease transaction paperwork from first contact through final lease execution
  • Create and share Construction Abstract, Lease Abstract, and Landlord Maintenance Obligation Abstract with internal team, as needed (Chief Engineer, Lead Engineer, Building Engineer, etc.)
  • Ensure smooth and effective handoff after lease signing to construction management team and/or Commercial Relations Specialist.

Education & Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Commercial leasing background/construction management background preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience
