Immigration Case Manager
Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, one of the world's leading international law firms with almost 4000 lawyers and staff in 30 offices is seeking an Immigration Case Manager for our internationally recognized Global Mobility and Immigration practice located in our Washington DC Office. This position will report to the Regional Paralegal Manager and will be responsible for providing the highest levels of client service in the preparation of a broad range of business immigration matters including:* Providing high level client support to businesses of all sizes * Preparing and filing of nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions and applications, labor certification (PERM) applications and applications for permanent residency and secondary benefits for foreign nationals* Coordinating and preparing complex cases such as O-1 and EB-1 petitions; motions to reconsider; Response to Requests for Evidence; Responses to Intent to Deny Notices, etc.* Participating in case strategy meetings, client development activities, town hall meetings and seminars provided to clients* Entering and maintaining data in immigration case management system* Organizing and preparing petition packets for filing; tracking and managing critical deadlines and preparing and maintaining current status reports* Guiding, training and leading Case Assistant, Paralegals and Sr. ParalegalsExperience: The qualified candidate will have:* A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university* A minimum of 5 years of business immigration experience* Commitment to a career in business immigration* A results and detail oriented outlook and the ability to work well under pressure* The ability to prioritize and balance multiple competing demands* Excellent written and verbal communication and computer skills* Ability and comfort functioning as part of a cohesive teamQualified candidates must apply online by visiting our website at www.morganlewis.com and selecting "Careers."
