The location for this role is virtual with midwest being preferred. As the Director of Sales - Worldwide Accounts, you will lead a portfolio of Hilton's accounts within the Insurance vertical market. You will identify, develop, and manage accounts to drive revenue and market share growth. In addition, you will drive performance through internal and external development. We will require you to be based in the Mid-West with expertise in managing Insurance accounts for group business. We will depend on you to see to overall success within your vertical through the positive partnerships you build. More specifically, you will: Lead accounts focused on the Financial and Insurance vertical market for group business.Maintain account qualification and compliance to account governance protocol.Mentor hotel and Hilton Sales team members in their involvement in educational and annual programs through your working knowledge of FICP and LIMRA. Nurture clients' day-to-day needs while identifying viable opportunities for deliberate initiatives designed to enhance operational and financial performance.Develop account planning strategies to facilitate growth.Aggregate client account-based growth data and evaluate areas of opportunity.Anticipate client needs and develop an approach that is tailored to each client.Model account-based trends on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis with data compared to previous years' results. This includes forecast development for future account-based growth rates.Serve as a subject matter expert in all brands to close the sale with clients.Ensure revenue targets are achieved by generating leads and mining opportunities within existing accounts to drive incremental revenue.Collaborate with Hilton Direct Partnership Team Members, International Specialists, Luxury Specialists and Business Travel Sales.Support Hilton leadership in providing account-specific coaching to increase sales and effectively use the organization's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) program.Network with business decision makers and executives to influence positive buying behaviors.Understand industry trends that impact customer buying behaviors and offer new ideas with innovative solutions.Engage in relevant industry organizations and events.At Hilton, we are accessible, responsive and consultative to all of our partners.You can expect to deliver to:Clients - you will communicate information that will influence a positive buying decision.Owners - you will build significant and individualized partnerships to provide unlimited value.Brands - you will craft partnerships using a defined and differentiated sales approach. The success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills: Strong customer service and communication skills (both verbal and written) while employing diplomacy with high-level executives and customers on a global scale Strong collaborative account development and problem solving skills Critical thinking with quantitative and qualitative analytics skills including the use of logic and reasoning to identify strengths/weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to a problem Strong negotiation skills to maximize value for partners Organization skills to give superb attention to detail with a self-starter mindset that includes a balance of assertiveness and teamwork Time management skills that lend to taking ownership of responsibilities, completing projects on time with a high level of positive energy and drive Project management skills to lead multiple priorities, work well under time constraints, effectively handle concurrent demands and prioritize responsibilities Autonomous work ethic to work independently with minimal supervision Complete discretion and confidentiality regarding sensitive information To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience: High School Diploma/GED Seven (7) years of professional experience Five (5) years of multi-hotel sales management experience that includes a convention hotel of 700+ rooms, OR in a corporate national sales management role Five (5) years of sales experience in a hotel or corporate hotel sales as a Senior Sales Manager or Director role Four (4) years of management experience In-depth knowledge of the Insurance industry Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint Travel 40% of the time It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions: BA/BS Bachelor's Degree Ten (10) years of professional experience Experience managing national and or global accounts Experience using Salesforce and Delphi What will it be like to work for Hilton?
