Travelling Software Engineer
This in the field Simulation Software Engineer will focus on designing and developing complex software systems for flight simulation. The ideal candidate will have experience using C++, Linux, Real Time Software Development, and MS Office Experience. The Engineers must be teamwork oriented, have the ability to get deeply involved in learning each system's operational, failure modes and then model that system with software. This is your chance to get deeply involved with the full software lifecycle from requirements to design to code and test for real systems and for you to make a real difference.This position will require at least 50% travel to the customer site at an Air Force Base in Kentucky. During travel, all expenses will be paid and they will have an apartment to use.Qualifications:3-5 years' experience -Providing efficient software solutions that fully satisfy all requirements for behavior and performance.-Analyzing the technical and logistical aspects of potential solutions, and make recommendations for mitigating risks.-Preparing the documentation, data, and presentation material needed to support design reviews.- Validating the correctness, completeness, and feasibility of solutions.-Participating in design, code, and test reviews.-Developing and executing unit, subsystem, and integrated test procedures About Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
