QA Training & Development Specialist
About:Our Aerotek client is a contact lens manufacturer. They have grown to become a world leader of myopia management and a leading manufacturer of advanced orthokeratology (Ortho-K) products (they produce special hard shell contact lenses/alternative to lasik). Job Duties:Responsible for analyzing training needs, developing curriculum and delivering courses (outsourced or in-house) for corporate, HR training and more. Evaluates the trainee for effectiveness of training and individual employee growth. Responsible for development of reporting for measurement of training needs and results. Ensures the smooth and effective roll-out of training events and special projects throughout the organization. Must be exceptionally knowledgeable, approachable, and confident in front of all groups of people1. Consults with [department or division name] managers and supervisors to assess training needs. 2. Develops, implements and delivers training programs for varying levels of individuals within [department or division name]. See the big picture and conduct whole-organization needs assessments, identifying skills or knowledge gaps that need addressing.3. Documents procedures for the [department or division name].4. Develops and maintains continual education support materials to be used for reference once training has been completed.5. Continually evaluates training progress and training procedures to monitor and analyze course effectiveness and update curriculum as needed.6. Market training opportunities to employees in an engaging and compelling way that provides all necessary information and entices participation.7. Tracks new training methods and techniques.8. Measure instructional effectiveness and generate summative evaluation reports with the goal of defining the impact of training on employee skills and KPIs.9. Connects with internal stakeholders and liaise with various experts regarding instruction and scheduling10. Facilitate train-the-trainer sessions for in-house experts/trainers11.
