Sr. Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst
POSITION SUMMARY Participates in a broad range of global corporate financial planning and analysis functions which include, but are not limited to: budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning support, reporting and the development and generation of insightful financial analyses.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:1. Supports the compilation and analysis of the annual budget and quarterly forecast.2. Assists in the long range financial planning process.3. Supports the organization in opportunity identification and evaluation, analysis-based decision making, action recommendation and performance assessment. 4. Analyzes and provides key insights on trends in key performance indicators including revenues, cost of sales, expenses, working capital and capital expenditures. 5. Creates financial models to analyze various business opportunities and cost savings initiatives.6. Identifies, recommends and implements continuous improvement and process transparency. SUPPLEMENTAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 1. Participates in ad hoc projects as necessary within the broader CFO organization.QualificationsEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or a related discipline, required. MBA, preferred.Minimum, four (4) years of work experience with progressively increasing responsibility, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, required.Hyperion experience, preferred.KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES: Demonstrated understanding of financial processes and systems.Financial consulting and analysis skills - ability to assess needs, identify issues, recommend alternatives and implement change.Excellent verbal and written communication skills - able to communicate financial concepts to non-financial audiences.Must have strong Excel and data manipulation skills Demonstrated ability to implement complex financial projects.Strong ability and experience in performing multiple concurrent tasks.Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate and structure projects and processes with various stakeholders. Ability to work independently in an entrepreneurial environment.Work Environment EQUIPMENT, TOOLS & WORK AIDS 1.
