POSITION SUMMARYThe manager in charge of Inventory Control at the DC is responsible to ensure that the published company Inventory Control policies and procedures are implemented and that Inventory Control teammates have been trained on the policies and the specific execution of related procedures. The IC Supervisor is directly responsible for the daily supervision of the Inventory Control staff and all proscribed tasks as performed by Analysts, Specialists, and Coordinators. In the absence of an IC Manager, the IC Supervisor reports directly to the DC General Manager.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Provide oversight, direction and accountability to all Inventory Control processes and ensures team adherence to company policy and procedure.Perform required MED observations, error logging, and report publication.Provide performance coaching, feedback, and counseling.Develops procedural recommendations intended to improve the overall accuracy, safeguarding, and efficient handling of all managed inventory.Develops programs to maintain tight security specific to managed inventory and ensures that only authorized personnel have access to product and records. Ensure adequate supervision and separation of duties to protect against issues of theft, negligence, or gross mismanagement.Provide management level support in maintaining the security and safety of the warehouse.Manage overall coordination of scheduled or requested physical inventories.Qualified to execute all essential job functions of an IC Analyst.SUPPLEMENTAL JOB FUNCTIONS:1. Performs additional duties as directed.QualificationsEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 1. General knowledge of a variety of basic topics, such as math, reading, basic accounting, typing, etc. Equal to a high school diploma. Four year college degree preferred. Successful completion of all company warehouse training modules resulting in certification. Certified on all warehouse machinery.2. At least three years of O&M experience required; for external hires at least one year supervisory experience required and at least two years warehouse experience preferred.KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES: 1.
