As the Director of Sales for a cybersecurity services organization, you will be an influencer, building trusting relationships with potential and existing customers. You'll apply an advanced balance of technical knowledge, organizational and customer knowledge to assist customers' needs for service, resulting in revenue generation. The position is about 70% customer retention/service focused and 30% business development including expanding and diversifying capabilities. You'll join a team of security engineers, consultants, penetration testers and security architects that support the effort to provide clients with superior advisory and assessment services for both federal and commercial projects. Your primary responsibility will be to prospect and sell products and services to new and existing customers, and maintain/enhance relationships., * Business development efforts include prospecting leads, presenting to executives, preparing proposals, negotiations and coordinate the decision process. * Effectively present the value-add of technical solutions and services. * Sales forecasting activities to research and develop short-term and long-term goals. * Researching customers' needs, developing and defining a market strategy in order to effectively develop and close sales.* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in IT, Information Security, Business or relevant work experience. * Demonstrated success of 5+ years of sales experience working in the commercial cybersecurity products and services industry. * Cooperative and professional communication skills: open, honest, and constructive. * Respectful, courteous and taking responsibility and ownership in order to resolve customer's questions and concerns. * Ability to develop and present effective presentations to both small and large groups. * Advanced skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
