Our client is headquartered in Baltimore, but operates over 10 facilities globally - many of which are in Europe. Guide leadership on People and Organizational needs A cents € cents Determine / advise on individual development interventions A cents € cents Coach client leadership on change management challenges and people implications A cents € cents Own full HR life cycle activities consistent with global HR strategy o Drive annual and mid-year global talent review process o Actively support succession planning activities o Support all performance management related activities o Champion the employee engagement agenda A cents € cents Support regional and global harmonization projects o HR matters of governance ranging from policy, standardization, sustainability and compliance Talent Management A cents € cents Global Talent Review and support implementation o Annual and mid-year implementation (from site to Business Unit level) o Ensure personal accountability and tracking of commitments made o Help re-assess current offerings o Determine future needs (content; curriculum; partnerships) o Internal branding / deployment A cents € cents Global engineering development program: be a principal lead in a multi-year program o Drive engineering talent regeneration in concert with local HR leadership o Open / deepen University / Technical college relationships; o Ensure engineering numbers (targets types) are achieved and assimilated o Help create best in class development program along with global cross functional teamo Drive global partnerships eg with LinkedIn; Glassdoor o Focus on building talent pipeline in technical, finance and commercial areas o Determine future state recruitment eg creation of a center of excellence Requirements Personal attributes * Reliability and discretion - you will often learn of confidential matters * Conscientious - highly organized; detail driven * Energy - has high levels of personal and emotional energy / maturity; a good sense of humor * Agility- is resourceful as necessary * Communications - is precise, clear and effective * Impact - has a 'can do' attitude and their customer's success in mind * Engagement - can build positive internal and external relationships as necessary * Influencing - can persuade others based upon thoughtful engagement and compelling reasoning, * 7+ years HR experience with a significant record in HR partnering * Bachelors or Masters' degree in HR /OD / Organizational Psychology / Labor Relations ideal * International HR operating environment exposure ideal * Demonstrated capacity to forge collaborative partnerships * Track record in leading key projects through to successful completion * Experience navigating organizational complexity (matrix environment) - cultural awareness is key * Is business focused and consequently commercially aware * Bi-lingual ideal (not necessary) - French or German, All applicants applying for US job openings must be authorized to work in the United States.
