  • GS-13: One year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service, obtained in either the private or public sector: Providing reports and trend analysis regarding the support of Web and Sharepoint applications;Reviewing directives, policies, programs, enterprise-wide functional user requirements and acquisition strategies/vehicles for program related issues to determine the impact and implications in supporting information systems; Developing, testing, installing, maintaining, and evaluating data and system software in accordance with policies, principles and practices in the development and delivery of field development software; Using National troubleshooting tools; Creating and maintaining documentation in support of IT applications; and Performing troubleshooting and maintenance in accordance with approved IT support activities.

    GS-14: One year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service, obtained in either the private or public sector: Reviewing directives, policies, programs, enterprise-wide functional user requirements and acquisition strategies/vehicles for program related issues to determine the impact and implications in supporting information systems; Developing and/or providing technical analysis of new and emerging technologies and their implications on the short and long term IT planning; Making recommendations on implantation strategies to include resources, acquisition strategy, funding and fielding of applicable technologies for future systems; Accomplishing long and short range projects in the modification of systems, software, hardware and networks; and Developing or providing guidance for the solution of difficult and unprecedented problems resulting from new or modified operational management information concepts and requirements.

    All qualification requirements must be met by 11:59 pm (Eastern Time) on the closing date of this vacancy announcement.

    Candidates eligible for veterans' preference will be placed ahead of other candidates in the appropriate category for which they have been rated. Additionally, preference eligibles who have a compensable service-connected disability of at least 10 percent and who meet Minimum Qualification Requirements will automatically be placed in the Best Qualified Category.
