We are looking for an energetic and tech-savvy Talent Sourcing Specialist to join our ever growing Talent Acquisition team here at University of Maryland Medical System. As a member of the Talent Acquisition team, the Talent Sourcing Specialist partners with Recruiters/Hiring Leaders to understand staffing needs, develop and implement proactive, innovative sourcing strategies for critical, difficult and visible vacancies. The Talent Sourcing Specialist will strategically source active and passive talent, assess and select qualified talent to be referred as candidates for open searches including networking and cultivating a talent pipeline. Principal Responsibilities and Tasks Creatively source for talent, using various tools such as cold calling, LinkedIn, job boards, search engines, social media, resume databases, etc. to generate high volume/high quality candidate pipelines for current and future vacancies.Builds, manages the CRM database which may include building job campaigns, generating reports and maintaining consistent communication with passive candidates.Researches and monitors trends and developments in sourcing tools/technologies, and provides solutions to Sourcing leader.Develops and maintains internal and external relationships with key stakeholders, including but not limited to vendors, recruiters, candidates, hiring managers, universities and relevant associations.Screen applicant resumes based on the Recruitment Specialists'/Hiring Managers' requirements.Identifies associations, organizations, etc. for diversity recruitment; creates and maintains diversity talent pool.Posts and manages job postings on various job boards, social media, etc.Collaborates with Recruitment Specialists to update/create search engine optimized job postings.Makes recommendations to Recruiters of reviewed resumes with credentials for appropriate skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements.Conducts initial phone screens to engage and fully qualify candidates against job specifications.Presents qualified candidate to the appropriate Recruitment SpecialistAttends meetings with recruiters and hiring managers when necessary to gain a better understanding of required talent pool and provide insight as needed.Provides weekly/biweekly activity reports to Recruitment Specialists/Hiring Managers.Attends and assists in the planning and execution of in-house career events, external job fairs including promoting the UMMS brand, screening candidates and inputting their information into the CRM.Tracks the progress of candidates submitted to hiring manager/recruiter to ensure candidate progression.Gathers and prepares data to assess effectiveness of sourcing strategy; analyzes reports on sourcing metrics.Participates in collaborative team efforts which include goals of process improvement, sharing best practices, and new and creative ideas for employment branding and other marketing options.Provides administrative support and performs diversified administrative functions such as scheduling interviews, posting job descriptions, composing letters, etc.What You Need to Be Successful:Bachelor's Degree required.Minimum 3 years of recruitment/talent acquisition, sourcing or other related experience required.Experience with cold calling, Boolean search/sourcing techniques. Progressive experience sourcing talent utilizing data mining, social networking and internet research tools to conduct name generation, identify target companies, etc. Proficient computer skills including the Microsoft Office and experience with data management systems is required.We are an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
