  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: All applicants must meet the qualification requirements outlined below to be considered minimally qualified for this position. The qualification requirements are in accordance with the OPM Qualification Standards. All qualifications must be met byt the closing date of this announcement.

    SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must possess one full year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 level or pay band in Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience is defined as: interpreting and applying federal travel regulations and policies; providing customer service on all travel related issues; reviewing and processing travel authorizations, travel vouchers, and conducting travel credit card audits utilizing an automated travel management system; compiling data from multiple sources to create various reports, spreadsheets, and graphs.

    Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
