Planning and conducting in-depth analysis and evaluation of administrative processes and programs; 3) Making recommendations for process improvement and efficiency, with guidance from supervisor; 3) Coordinating and oversees command Navy military awards program, including facilitating awards boards; 4) Coordinating and monitoring travel arrangements for assigned travelers, using the Defense Travel System (DTS) in accordance with Joint Travel Regulations (JTR).
I possess a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a PhD. or equivalent doctoral degree LL.M., if related. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. GRADUATE EDUCATION: One academic year of graduate education is considered to be the number of credit hours that your graduate school has determined to represent one academic year of full-time study. Such study may have been performed on a full-time or part-time basis. If you cannot obtain your graduate school's definition of one year of graduate study, 18 semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) should be considered as satisfying the requirement for one year of full-time graduate study. You will perform detailed tasks to develop, analyze, evaluate and advise on, or enhance the effectiveness of various administrative programs, processes, and procedures regarding military performance evaluations, Navy awards, military pay, and personnel policies.
You will utilizes various databases and systems in completion of tasks including, but not limited to, the Transaction Online Processing System (TOPS), Navy Standard Integrated Personnel System (NSIPS), Fleet Training Management and Planning Systems (FLTMPS), Master Military Pay Account (MMPA), Navy Family Accountability and Assessment System (NFAAS), Defense Travel System (DTS), and NAVFIT 98A.
