Alumni Interview Coordinator, Graduate Admissions - Georgetown University Law Center

Alumni Interview Coordinator manages the JD and Graduate Tax Alumni Interview programs, provides administrative support for a portion of the JD and Graduate applicants, and processes Graduate deny decisions and reconsideration requests. Reporting to the Manager of Graduate Admissions, the Coordinator has duties that include but are not limited to:

Alumni Admissions Interview Programs

  • Coordinates JD and Graduate Tax alumni interviews and evaluations - exchanging email correspondence with applicants and alumni, tracking and scheduling appointments, processing evaluations, and generally overseeing the flow of applications through the interview process.
  • Working closely with the Dean and Assistant Directors, fosters new and existing relationships with Law Center alumni in an effort to expand the Alumni Admissions Programs.

Administrative & Technological Support

  • Provides administrative and technological support to a portion of the JD and Graduate applicant pools. Participates in coverage of the Front Desk (reception) Assist in annual "wrap-up" process.
  • Manages communications with all admitted students regarding submission of required enrollment documents including official final transcripts.
  • Assists an Assistant Director with financial affairs processing and paperwork.

Graduate Deny and Reconsideration Decisions

  • Processes and delivers (via email) Graduate deny admissions decisions.
  • Processes and manages requests for reconsideration.
  • Processes and coordinates requests for individual file review between a denied applicant and Director of Graduate Admissions.


  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2 years of relevant administrative and customer service experience
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to expertly prioritize and efficiently manage multiple assignments
  • Preference for experience with a relevant Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
