Let's make an impact together.Perspecta is an AA/EEO Employer - Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled and other protected categories Responsibilities Responsible for all equity accounting and related financial statement disclosures, including accounting for the Company's stock-based incentive plans, ensuring compliance with US GAAP. Responsible for supporting the accounting and financial statement disclosures for all other benefit plans to include Pension, 401(k) and deferred compensation plans. Responsibilities include:Calculate and record monthly stock-based compensation expense utilizing equity valuation models where applicableWork closely with outside benefits providers to ensure all pension and other related benefit expense is properly recordedPrepare all relevant disclosures for SEC filingsPrepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations for equity and other benefit accountsPrepare annual budgets and quarterly forecast updates for all equity and benefit plan accountsDocument and substantiate quarterly adherence to internal control requirements under the Sarbanes-Oxley ActCollaborate with Human Resource on equity and other benefit compensation activities, including coordination and support for annual benefit plan auditsReview ledgers maintained by stock plan administrator for accuracySupport the technical accounting team with accounting analysis and other special projects as required Requires 8 to 10 years with BS/BA or 6 to 8 years with MS/MA or 3 to 5 years with PhD.Seven or more years of related experience; ideally with some experience in Public AccountingMust be detail oriented and able to simultaneously address multiple high-profile prioritiesStrong communication skills needed to interface with high-level customer representativesStrong planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize workStrong personal computer skills with expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel and WordAbility to provide guidance to accounting team membersAbility to publicly represent company with internal clientsAbility to use own judgment and initiative in problem resolutionAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPreferred Experience:Experience with FASB ASC Topic 718 (FAS 123R) is highly preferredCertified Public Accountant and/or CEP certification preferred
