Position: Cybersecurity Business Development ExecutiveReports to: National Sales DirectorLocation: Hunt Valley, MDJob Purpose:Dunbar is seeking a Business Development Executive who will drive and grow cybersecurity solutions and service sales within newly developed business. The BDE will sell services focused around threat detection and analytics, IT infrastructure security, and cybersecurity solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience with selling Managed Security Services and/or Enterprise Software Management relevant to mid-market businesses. Duties and Responsibilities* Identify, define and close new cybersecurity opportunities* Leverage Dunbars cybersecurity expertise and services to develop new business* Manage engagements through the entire sales process from developing the opportunity, defining the opportunity, proposal development, presentations, requirements gathering, partnering with Operations to scope the project and ensure customer satisfaction is high.* Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your customers* Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships* Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key customer stakeholders and executive sponsors* Liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of security solutions according to customer needs* Forecast and track key account metrics* Identify and grow opportunities within territory and collaborate with sales teams to ensure growth attainmentKnowledge, Skills and Abilities* 5+ years of current sales expertise* 5+ years of current sales experience in a sales role where you have consistently exceeded your sales quota* Experience in Professional Services a plus* Cybersecurity expertise focused around knowledge of threats to IT infrastructure, threat analytics solutions, and cybersecurity products and services a PLUS* Solid track record of consistently closing large deals (with experience closing $1M+ deals preferred)* Experience selling into the Financial Services, Healthcare, Distribution, and/or Public-Sector industries* Ability to travel up to 50% locally* Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level* Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs* Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills* Excellent verbal and written communications skills* Experience selling to mid-market level businessesWhat you need to succeed:* You must have a solid business development or sales track record, with a strong consultative sales methodology to use your personal experience and knowledge to close large cybersecurity deals* Consistent track record of meeting and exceeding sales & BD goals and quotas year after year for at least the last 4+ years* IT Security Certifications are not required but preferred by the hiring team* Cybersecurity experience including infrastructure threat analysis and detection, APT, threat analytics, etc. are preferred but not requiredAbout Dunbar Security Solutions:Dunbar Security Solutions provides expert security consulting services, operating as a trusted advisor on the convergence of physical and logical security.
