Our precision recruiting process aligns the right fit for the right people. * * * * * * * Must reside in Rockville, MD to qualify. * * * * * * * We have an immediate need for a qualified Field Service Laser Printer Technician to provide time-sensitive, onsite technical support in Rockville, MD. Candidates must also own a vehicle that can transport parts and boxes (no scooters / mopeds). The right person will have prior break-fix experience working on laser printers.Overview: Greet customer and convey appreciation of them as a valued customer Conduct tests on computer equipment to determine if it is functioning properly Accurately diagnose problems with specified equipment and correctly identify remediation solution necessary to bring equipment back to operational status Determine best cost approach to implement repairs to customer's equipment Perform routine equipment installations, moves, additions, and changes as part of a deployment team Perform preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment as directed by supervisor Report status of open job tickets to help desk team members and to supervisor Provide support to senior team members when completing complex repairs or installations Maintain familiarity with customer equipment and network to identify trends and patterns of problems and to assist in resolving underlying causes Return all areas accessed to the condition of cleanliness at which they were found Maintain records and logs of all service performed and with details of customer concerns and requests Ensure satisfaction throughout the delivery, reflected through professional actions, demeanor, dress, and attitude * * * Local Candidates Only * * * Non-Local candidates will be rejected without consideration. Qualifications: Must have Laser Printer break-fix experience CompTIA A+, Network+ certification nice to have Ability to work and make decisions with a minimum of supervision Skills in communicating with a variety of customers in a highly professional manner Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to details of the job Ability to multitask while maintaining highest customer service levels High School Diploma, Technical School or College preferred Special Requirements: Travel Percentage: 100% (mileage reimbursed) Background check and drug screen and DMV required Must have Smart Phone - company will reimburse for use Must be willing to travel out of state one week per month for certifications - company paid Eligibility to receive a government security clearance to service government clients Required to be on the monthly standby rotation schedule within his / her scheduled region of work Must be able to lift, push, or pull 50+ lbs., and be able to bend, kneel, and work with arms raised for prolonged periods Must pass Color Vision Test Must have reliable vehicle W2 only, no Corp to Corp.
