We have an excellent opportunity for a Vehicle and Equipment Technician in Cockeysville, MD. The successful candidate will oversee the operation of EA's internal equipment warehouse function, much like operation of an equipment rental company. The position is responsible for independently supporting over 200 internal customers at multiple locations in the geographic area. Job Snapshot: Similar to equipment rental Mechanical ability Customer Service Job Description: The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily operation of EA's internal vehicle and equipment function, much like the operation of an equipment rental company. The position is responsible for supporting internal customers at 3 locations in the mid-Atlantic region by ensuring equipment and vehicles are in good working order and available for pickup at scheduled times. The individual will understand the purpose, operation, capabilities and controls for a diverse set of equipment, vehicles and boats and will be able to train staff on safe and proper use as well as support and troubleshoot equipment remotely to minimize delays in project work. This position ensures that returned equipment, boats and vehicles are cleaned, tested and inspected for safety before making the unit available for use. Although minimal, some work outside of normal business hours is expected. Preferred Skills: Equipment rental or logistics experience Experience with light construction and material sampling equipment Forklift operation experience Boat and small engine maintenance and repair We offer competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefit package.
