The Global Marketing team brings to life the unique promise of Hilton's portfolio of brands by defining, creating, and delivering exceptional multi-channel marketing campaigns designed to drive business results.What will I be doing?The Focused Service Brand Marketing team drives and leads marketing strategy for an exciting portfolio of three brands: Hilton Garden Inn, Hampton by Hilton, and Tru by Hilton. The Tru Brand is a young brand that embraces simplicity, is fun, is engaging and champions the value-conscious traveler. We are looking for a Director of Global Brand Marketing that will take chances, make mistakes, and innovate. If this sounds like you, then you will fit right in! Through a deep understanding of consumer insights and business findings, you will develop and refine brand positioning, marketing strategy and integrated marketing plans. Additionally, you will build on a national and global scale above the line and below the line marketing strategies from creative development and execution to media strategy and planning. These strategies will not only drive revenue, market share, and brand loyalty with existing target consumers, but also cultivate emerging traveler segments. Ready to catch that Tru spirit?More specifically, you will:Craft all brand positioning, marketing planning activities, and campaign execution in conjunction with media planning and PR. This also includes creating a high-impact presence that drives conversion.Identify core research, analytics, and metrics to inform consumer insights, drive efficiency of marketing executions, and develop strong, engaging creative.Manage the creative agency of record to ensure a positive relationship and to facilitate groundbreaking, world-class work.Coordinate with our Media Strategy & Planning team and media agency of record to plan and implement media strategies (both nationally and globally) to achieve brand goals.Monitor success and opportunities for improvement in a test-and-learn environment to improve return on investment.Design integrated global brand strategies in sponsorships/partnerships to connect with third parties and to reach new audiences.Empower a growing portfolio of hotels to market themselves locally by developing centrally-managed resources.Collaborate with key partners - actively managing relationships up, down, across and diagonally within the enterprise - with a focus on Owners, Category and Global Brand Heads, and Brand Performance Support.Develop and handle a significant brand marketing budget, including the ratio of working to non-working dollars, monthly/quarterly forecasting, and actuals reconciliation.Recruit and nurture top talent; you will foster a high performing environment that builds a performance driven, dynamic, and super engaged team.What are we looking for?The success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:A real passion for and deep grasp of using consumer insights to power marketing impact and innovationAccomplished in building positive relationships across the enterpriseStrong ability to collaborate while persuasively selling ideas that are not always popularConfident communication of ideas to senior executive and owner audiencesTo fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:BA/BS Bachelor's degreeEight (8) years in corporate marketing or advertising agency rolesThree (3) years of people management experience20% travel domesticallyExperience with Omni-channel and social media marketingIt would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:Master's of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing or related fieldTen (10) years in corporate marketing or advertising agency rolesSix (6) years of people management experienceHospitality experienceKnowledge of franchise organizationsWhat will it be like to work for Hilton?Hilton is the leading global hospitality company, spanning the lodging sector from luxurious full-service hotels and resorts to extended-stay suites and mid-priced hotels.
