Director of Marketing - Private Label Herndon, VAThis role is an incredible opportunity for a talented leader to build our private label business, with opportunity to develop it into a billion-dollar brand.Job purpose Reporting to the VP of Marketing, the Director of Marketing for Private Label is responsible for establishing and implementing strategic objectives and initiatives for Beacon's Private Label brand: TRI-BUILT. This self-starter will build plans to: generate sales, sustain growth, track market opportunities, identify customers and their needs, monitor the competition and introduce new products. Duties and responsibilities Develop and implement Private Label business strategy; inclusive of product strategy and pricing strategy Create and drive marketing plans for new and existing products Develop sales plans to achieve corporate objectives in terms of revenue, margin and adoption expansion across markets Work closely with Field Sales Teams, including Presidents, Sales VPsRVPs and Branch Managers, enabling them to meet their commercial objectives by providing them with appropriate tools, materials, and reports Work cross functionally with internal stakeholders from Procurement, Supply Chain, Legal and IT Analyze marketing trends, industry trends, competitive environment and best practices and adjust marketing and sales strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions Create training programs and materials for private label concepts, objectives, opportunities, product knowledge, marketing and sales approach; provide expertise on current Private Label best practices Facilitate information sharing and communication with Field Teams, across different functions Assist with the development and selling of National Accounts within their respective regions Work with Ecommerce Team for implementation of private label product line and promote sales through the Beacon Pro platform Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Marketing orrelated disciplines 5 years of progressive leadership, marketing and program management, business development and/or account management experience Product development experience preferred Experience in leading and managing teams within a complex environment with multiple stakeholders and decision makers Experience in integrated marketing program development and execution with strong project management experience Ability to leverage financial data to drive business growth and marketing program recommendations Understanding of private label operations and practical implementation of its business practices in the field A strategic mindset and critical thinking ability to utilize data to generate actionable business insights Strong focus on customer/client demands and market needs Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills to interface with Executives, managerial level and field team level
