This individual will provide full scope human resources support and service to assigned business units, serving as a business partner for all human resource matters. Perform HR-related duties on a professional level and will work closely with the entire Human Resources team as well as interact and partner with corporate and delivery personnel. Specifically, the HR Business Partner will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following: * The development, implementation, administration or oversight of assigned HR programs and will monitor and continuously improve upon them. * Develop human resource solutions by collecting and analyzing information and recommending courses of action for program modifications, corrective action and continuous improvement. * Administer various human resource plans and procedures for all employees; assists in the development, updating and maintenance of policies and procedures; employee handbook and other HR content. * Help improve manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying problems; evaluating potential solutions; and coaching, counseling and guiding managers and employees on methods and approaches to resolve issues. * Identify challenges and issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and develop appropriate recommendations and solutions. Monitor for efficacy and continued improvement. * Maintain human resource information system records and compile and analyze reports from HR Systems * Execute career development and annual review process * File EEO-1, Vet-100, and OSHA reporting annually; maintains other records, reports, and logs to conform to regulations * Perform benefits administration to include enrollments and terminations, annual open enrollment, approving invoices for payment, claims resolution, and communicating benefit information to employees * Assist with workforce management * Update and deliver weekly and monthly HR metrics * Conduct employee on boarding, orientation, and off boarding * Conduct salary surveys and research wage and salary data * Maintain I-9 and other HR records * Other duties as assignedGreat opportunity to join a dynamic, growing, award winning organization, named two years in a row in Washington Business Journal's 50 Fastest Growing Companies. Be part of a positive, supportive team and make an immediate impact as you help transform Human Resources to a strategic business partner model., Education and Certifications * Bachelor's Degree in Business, HR, or related field preferred. * SHRM-CP and/or PHR certification strongly preferred. Knowledge and Experience * Minimum 5 years' experience in the field of HR * Experience in managing full employee life-cycle including onboarding, total rewards, development and learning, performance management, engagement and recognition, workforce management and planning, employment law, employee relations and compliance. * Government contracting experience preferred. * Ability to operate independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, changing environment. * Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. * Proficient with HR Technology and experience with systems implementation a plus. * Have an understanding of HR laws and compliance requirements * Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, resolve problems and recommend solutions * Ability to work outside scheduled hours in order to meet commitments * Reliable transportation for travel to site visits in the DC-metro area * Self-motivated with the ability to complete assigned tasks with little supervision * Detail-oriented and meet strict deadlines * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Other Requirements: * Must be clearable
