Director, Business Partnership Marketing
The Humane Society of The United States (HSUS), the nation's most effective animal protection organization, is seeking a Director, Business Partnership Marketing for the Business Development & Corporate Relations department. This position is responsible for leading the Business Development & Corporate Relations department's marketing and promotional needs, with the specific goal of maximizing lifetime net revenue from corporate fundraising and engagement programs. This position will be responsible for: * Managing and developing the department's corporate partnership marketing campaigns, from strategic planning and creative development to execution and ongoing performance monitoring; * Managing the department's annual advertising budget, establishing promotional priorities, designing, coordinating, scheduling and implementing all marketing and promotion (online and offline) for the organization's corporate programs using a portfolio of agencies, paid channels, including paid and unpaid search, paid social media, display, email, and SMS; * Growing vehicle donation program to drive long-term financial sustainability. Ensuring constant visibility and carefully monitoring performance ensuring year-over-year revenue growth; * Planning and maintaining the department's corporate marketing calendar, tracking and coordinating all internal corporate promotional needs/requests/activities; * Analyzing and tracking performance of promotional efforts to include cost per dollar raised, earned, revenue, open and click-through rates, tracking performance trends and identifying data anomalies; * Collaborating with Communications department, to include creative teams to produce copy and design, and coordinate all additional promotional content needed to implement paid corporate partnership advertising campaigns and third-party buys; * Leading efforts to create, optimize, and improve search engine initiatives on strategic BDCR campaigns. Developing creative assets and updating content as needed to ensure consistency and performance improvement; * Responding to occasional inquiries for new corporate business relationships and evaluating potential.* Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience required; * Minimum 8 years of experience designing and directing paid digital engagement campaigns, with at least five of those years managing creative or digital marketing agencies; * Demonstrated knowledge of the business practices of creative/advertising agencies related to contracts, rate schedules and performance metrics; * Demonstrated understanding of paid digital marketing trends, and the use of paid digital media for fundraising and/or social change; and familiarity with social and paid advertising techniques and trends; * Strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly and precisely extract results from a variety of sources in additional to Google Analytics; * Excellent written and verbal communication skills necessary to tailor messages to various audiences; * High degree of organizational skills, with ability to multi-task and seamlessly reorganize priorities as necessary.
