  • This position requires climbing, kneeling, prolonged walking, repeated bending, good eyesight, and color distinction.
  • Work is performed in confined rooms and areas or in an outside area. the incumbent will be required to work in all kinds of weather or in situatins where temperature variance is considerable.
  • In order to qualify for Animal Caretaker, 5048, at WG - 5/6, you must meet the following:

    Animal Caregiver, WG-5048-5:

    Possess the ability to perform animal caretaker duties for large and small domestic farm or laboratory animals handling pre-and post-operative, pregnant, or sick animals, collecting biological specimens from large animals, administering medical or test substance and monitoring and milking cows. This experience must be reflected in your resume. Volunteer experience can be used as qualifying experience.

    Animal Caregiver, WG-5048-6:
    Possess the ability to perform animal caretaker duties for large and small domestic farm or laboratory animals assisting in diagnostic, therapeutic, and/or experimental procedures, handling pre-and post-operative, pregnant, or sick animals, collecting biological specimens from large animals, administering medical or test substance and monitoring and milking cows. This experience must be reflected in your resume. Volunteer experience can be used as qualifying experience.
