Seeking a full-time merit Residential Treatment Support Case manager at the Merrifield center with Fairfax-Falls Church Community Services Board. Serves as the primary case manager for clients on the waitlist awaiting placement in CSB and contract residential treatment programs. Provides individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, case coordination, outreach and referral services to the clients awaiting residential treatment placement. Acts as liaison and coordinate ancillary services with various community programs and agencies.Coordinates treatment placement with judges and probation officers. Provides court testimony as required.Will be expected to maintain client records in accordance with CSB policy and be very knowledgeable in both mental health and substance use diagnosis.

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, nursing, counseling or a related field, plus one year of clinical experience.
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES REQUIRED:
Certain positions in this class may require: master's degree in psychology, social work, nursing, counseling or a related field; valid motor vehicle driver's license with fewer than six demerit points (or the equivalent in another state) at time of appointment and maintained throughout employment with CSB.
NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
The appointee to this position will be required to complete a criminal background check, a Child Protective Services Registry, a driving record check and a check with the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) to the satisfaction of the employer. Must be able to use a computer to document client information and progress into HER; collect urine specimen from clients; and use breathalyzer/alco-sensor;
Master's degree in social work or related field and at two years experience providing services to both substance use dependent clients and clients diagnosed with mental illness.
Ability to sit, walk, stand ,bend and write as needed to complete duties of the job. Must be able travel to other sites as well as contract programs. Must be able to use the telephone for extensive duration. All duties performed with or without reasonable accommodations.
