PURPOSE The Client is seeking a Cisco Tetration Administrator, hereafter referred to as Tetration Administrator, to support their contract with the IRS Network Management Control Center located at the New Carrollton Federal Building (NCFB) in Lanham MD. The Tetration Administrator will work Network Engineers, system administrators, and others to plan, implement, configure, troubleshoot, run reports, provide analysis of data, administer the Tetration system and provide training to end users and other system administrators. The Tetration Administrator must be able to work with little supervision in a highly dynamic and innovative work environment. Qualifications Required Demonstrable administration experience with Cisco Tetration tools At least 2 but preferably more years' experience with Tetration Firm knowledge of Tetration technologies, process and inner workings Experience using the Microsoft office suite of tools including Office 2007 or newer Experience supporting a SOC/NOC environment Experience with the ITIL IT Lifecycle Management Framework Demonstrable experience in successfully leading a mid-size system implementation project Skills/Personal Qualities: Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Flexible and adaptable to changing environment Ability to interface with all levels of management Ability to work on multiple tasks at the same time Excellent time management, scheduling, and organizational skills Ability to work independently or closely with other developers with minimal guidance Education, Degrees, Certifications: Bachelor's degree in a technical subject. All certifications must have number or copy of actual certificate attached 2. SCOPE Support includes, but is not limited to Incident Management Perform Level 3 (expert) troubleshooting for Cisco Tetration Drafting new or updated SOPs for government review. Submittal of weekly reports on issues worked and status of incidents Monitor the performance of Tetration and ensure when they are not performing to the minimum standards, evaluate the deficient conditions and provide responses that will help resolve any deficiencies. Provide maintenance of Tetration to ensure that the equipment and systems operate in accordance with Government-approved performance standards and/or Government provided KPIs and any other objectives as defined by this SOW. Event Management Manage the Event Management process for any EN service that is dependent upon Tetration. Analyze the thresholds and subsequent events and alerts that are created to determine the right balance between events, alerts and capacity. Perform Continuous Process Improvement to ensure the Event Management process improvements are made and processes are followed Access management Manage access to Tetration per authorized IRS access request procedures. When existing procedures are not sufficient then new procedures will be drafted for government review. Provide support for Tetration and the infrastructure. Change Management Participate in EN Change Management procedures when a request is made for a change in the Tetration processes or procedures. When required to support operations, a Change Management ticket will be created, track and report out within the established Change Management Process. Knowledge Management Assist with updating the NMCC Knowledge Management repository by providing timely Knowledge database entries on issues encountered and procedures developed for resolving Tetration issues. Develop and test disaster recovery procedures for Tetration so another administrator can effectively and efficiently recover the system. Availability Management Candidate will be responsible for monitoring the availability of Tetration as defined in the Availability Management Process and to generate reports in accordance with the NMCC Tetration availability reporting process. When existing procedures are not sufficient then new procedures will be drafted for government review. Define proposals for improvement when availability does not meet established standards. Release Management Support the successful rollout of Tetration software and related hardware to ensure that hardware and software being changed/implemented is traceable, secure and that only correct, authorized and tested versions are installed. Provide services to deploy hardware and software patches as approved by the Configuration Control Board (CCB). Provide support for the continued deployment, operations, and maintenance of Tetration. Engineering/Systems Administration and troubleshooting support will be required for the management of Tetration. 3. SUBCONTRACTOR PERSONNEL Seller shall provide Level of effort support in accordance with this SOW not to exceed an average standard 40 hour work week (averages calculated on a calendar month basis). The assignment of qualified personnel shall be the responsibility of Seller with concurrence from Buyer. Buyer reserves the right to reject any assigned Seller personnel that Buyer feels is not meeting the requirements for these positions. 5. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE Place of Performance will be New Carrollton Federal Building, 5000 Ellin Rd, Lanham, MD 20706 6. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE Immediately-01/31/2019 and may be extended 7. CLEARANCE REQUIRED PRIOR TO START Candidate must have the ability to obtain an IRS Moderate risk MBI clearance. A current active IRS MBI clearance, or having held one within the past 2 years is preferred. If candidate has no IRS MBI, a prior public trust or higher level clearance at another federal agency is highly preferred. Work may not begin until the MBI clearance is received.
