We're seeking a Director of Marketing who has demonstrated success effectively managing a marketing team to exceed goals. We have a great team in place and are looking for a marketing leader with proven results across multiple channels to drive the charge. Supervise hiring, training, workloads, schedules and deadlines.Develop and implement marketing plans, including promotional calendars and programs, new product introductions and other marketing projects.Drive branding and audience expansion initiatives through various marketing channels, including but not limited to SEO, SEM, affiliates, social media and email marketing.Generate and analyze reporting, providing a comprehensive overview of team performance based on metrics and qualitative feedback.Oversee the operation of a company's website and blog with an emphasis on performance.Manage marketing budgets through partnership with team members, recommending optimizations based on performance.Participate in sales forecasting and product planning initiatives, taking the position of customer and prospective customer advocate.Conduct customer and brand research initiatives.Manage agency providers, consultants, freelancers and other suppliers, including contract negotiation and management.Manage projects that may involve multi-departmental teams and/or third party vendors.Deliver presentations and product demonstrations including public marketing demonstrations and assist on sales and partnership opportunities.Communicate with external audiences (analysts, reporters, trade show audiences, etc.).Requirements:Minimum 10 years marketing experience, with demonstrated success in various channels and disciplinesMinimum 8 years software industry experience, including cloud-based solutionsMinimum 5 years people management experienceBA/BS required; MBA a plusExposure to sales, product management, and customer supportExcellent writing skills, with an emphasis on writing to sellEffective, clear, and concise presentation skillsAbility to manage projects involving cross-functional teamsAbility to create straightforward messaging for complex productsStrong PowerPoint skills, and good knowledge of Excel and other business softwareDemonstrated ability/comfort in learning and mastering softwareAdditional Attributes Desired:Exposure to the field service industryAttention to detailCreativity while remaining results-orientedHigh productivity and self-motivationSolid organizational skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to learn on the go and adjust quickly to changing requirementsTeam playermHelpDesk is a leading provider of web-based service management software that is revolutionizing how companies manage their customers and service tickets.
