Our team builds Key's Online Banking, Mobile Banking apps and a number of other tools that bring the concept of Financial Wellness and Money Management to more than 3 million people across the country and from all walks of life. On our Front-End Engineering team, you will have a dual role: Work as part of an Agile Squad, responsible for all work on a particular aspect of our Digital experience (we are divided into small teams called 'squads' with 2-4 Front-End developers on each)Belong to the Front-End Engineering Chapter, and build tools that our entire enterprise uses to create their own interfaces (including working on Key's new Design System) Our team works well together, and while we're looking for strong JavaScript Developers, we are really looking for friendly, hard-working, fun-loving people who enjoy interacting with others. What we're passionate about: Writing awesome, bulletproof, documented, testable codeHand-crafting complex interactions and animationsWorking in sprints, providing and receiving full support from our Squad membersFurthering the skills of ourselves and those on our teamsEvangelizing our technology to other teams in the bank and the industry ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Collaborate with UI and UX Designers on component designs for both the web and mobileDevelop and maintain sections of our Online and Mobile Bank experience, using modern JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML and SASS/CSSCode and test Angular and AngularJS componentsFind and address performance issues and defectsProvide peer code-reviews to others on the team, and mentor younger FE EngineersWork with other Front-End engineers on bank-wide projects that further the practice of UX Development REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:2+ years of experience building complex Angular applications (including TypeScript) 3+ years of experience building complex single-page web apps in a corporate environment Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Experience building mobile apps using Cordova and Ionic (or other similar mobile development frameworks)Experience working with a large development team, and the ability to figure things out on their ownHave built at least 3 HTML sites/applications using a framework like Bootstrap in the past, and can demonstrate the skills they needed to develop themExtensive experience using CSS Preprocessors (preferably SASS) PREFFERD QUALIFICATIONSExamples of using JavaScript and CSS animations to develop complex interactions (including GreenSock, SVG animation, etc.)Has experience writing automated test scripts, performing ADA evaluations (using aXeCore or similar) and managing build tools (Gulp, Webpack, etc.)Experience working with Middleware team to create Rest APIs used by the front-end codeABOUT KEY:KeyCorp's roots trace back 190 years to Albany, New York.
