For more information, visit the Senior Manager Finance position at DXC Technology you will oversee the developments, implementations, and manage the financial activities of the organization, including budget and forecasting processes, restructuring, decision support, and ensure and accurate recording of actuals. Essential Job Functions * Partners with Finance to ensure accurate financial and cost accounting, recording, and reporting of actuals within Corporate Services cost centers, sites, and respective regions. Develops and implements financial controls. * Manages cost centers for Corporate Services; establishes, implements, and enforces related guidelines. * Manages departmental restructuring, lease accounting, and capital accounting; works with global and regional controllers to ensure accurate recording and adherence to established guidelines. * Works in conjunction with management and sub-functions to schedule, manage, and implement annual budget process. Develops and issues targets. Monitors spending for adherence to budget plans, develops and recommends variances. Performs and/or oversees budget analysis. * Oversees the maintenance of annual operating and capital budgets/forecasts, including updates of actuals, detailed modeling and consolidation of new business opportunities. Oversees updates to quarterly models to include last quarter actuals, new business, new departments and new computations of operating results. * Oversees the preparation of financial and management reports that summarize and forecast sub-function activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on current and expected operations. * Coordinates, compiles and presents variance analyses along with conclusions to management. Makes recommendations for financial planning and cost-based initiatives as appropriate to meet business needs. * Identifies, monitors, and reports capital expenditures, financial implications of project variances, instances of program amendments, and agreements for additional services. Manages internal and external actuals and systems audits. * Provides expertise to management on protection against property losses, liabilities, and operational adjustments due to tax code revisions, lease accounting revisions, and purchase price accounting. * Selects and hires employees. Trains and evaluates employees to enhance their performance, development, and work product. Addresses performance issues and makes recommendations for personnel actions.
