    This position is an Entry/Developmental Level DCIPS position. DCIPS Entry/Developmental Level positions include GG-07 and GS/GG-09.     This position has a Basic Requirement for the 1515 series: Degree: in operations research; OR at least 24 semester hours in a combination of operations research, mathematics, probability, statistics, mathematical logic, science, or subject-matter courses requiring substantial competence in college-level mathematics or statistics. At least 3 of the 24 semester hours must have been in calculus.

    Specialized experience required for this position is:

    For the GG-7
    1. Training or Education in DoD and Intelligence Community (IC) organizations and missions
    2. Knowledge of the concepts, principles, and theories of cost analysis within complex and/or systems engineering projects.
    3. Education and/or Training in methods to gather and organize data.
    4. Ability to work independently and within a team or collaborative environment.
    For the GG-09
    1. Experience or Education in DoD and Intelligence Community (IC) organizations and missions
    2. Applies the concepts, principles, and theories of cost analysis to systems engineering development projects.
    3. Researches, collects and analyzes data to support component cost and/or budgetary estimates.
    4. Works independently and within a diverse team or collaborative environment.
