AboutWeb is currently looking for a Content Strategist who understands our audiences, the value of storytelling and has experience developing the strategy and execution of content across digital channels to join our Design Team. The content designed will be critical to the success of current and future strategic initiatives. Required Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field and 5-7+ years of experience
  • Maintain superb attention to detail, collaboratively employing a creative, research-driven process to shape content structure, visuals, and tone
  • Improve content creation efforts by helping to lead the research and development of interactive and experiential storytelling for projects
  • Define the strategy and development of creative concepts, develop the governance plan and content development workflow, guiding the development of content for leading-edge digital solutions
  • Be adept when it comes to tasks such as organization, multi-tasking, analyzing and interpreting data, and have solid writing skills
  • Help our client and our clients share best practices through case studies, and will help drive opportunities to tell our story through interviews and at conferences
  • Help our client win exciting new opportunities by communicating our core services to prospective customers in the federal, commercial, and nonprofit spaces
  • Collaborate closely with researchers, designers, product managers, engineers and stakeholders as part of the creative process during all phases of the project to improve how the effectiveness of digital, print, and other content is measured
  • Be a leader of our client's and their client's content initiatives and brand voice by writing copy that engages and converts your audience
  • Apply meta data to new and existing content according to style guides and design systems
  • Document and communicate decision making process for recommendations/analysis
  • Have experience with content-heavy government websites and complex web applications
  • Meticulously ensure content consistency across all marketing channels
  • Advise how to streamline content production and management solutions and processes, based on user research
  • Plan and facilitate content strategy workshops and brainstorming sessions on developing content and content services
  • Have experience in working on multiple projects simultaneously in an agile development process and participate, as needed, on scrum teams
  • Ability to work within the U.S. without sponsorship
